Aarrghhh!! Not a BIGGEST LOSER!!

After a week spent with my parents, brothers, sisters & girlfriends in Kuala Lumpur, I had gained a kilo! It's so easy to gain unwanted weight than to lose necessary weight aarghh!!

Now, inspired by the 'Biggest Loser' show on Hallmark channel, I regularly exercising. I like the boxing-squatting style. I can feel the muscles in my body react, especially at my back side. My sister-in-law said she has lost 4 kilos. And she looks rather slim. I am green with envy hahaha.

Earlier, I wished my mama 'Happy Mother's Day', and she told me that my family back in KL had treated her at Chili's. She told me that my sister, Zatty was jealous since she couldn't be there heheh. I told my mama, I am jealous too for not being able to celebrate with them. But thinking positively, if I had gone there, I might gain a few pounds more hahahaha.

Now my motto is eating like the french do and regular exercise to keep fit & healthy!

New Year, New Fishes

Happy New Year!!

Yesterday, on 1st January 2009, my husband brought me to the Aquarium in Jalan Burma, Pulau Pinang. Aquarium is a 3-storey pet shop where you can purchase your choice of pet from fish, frogs, tortoises, spiders, chipmunks, snakes, parrots, dogs, lizards, hamsters, rabbits, and etc. You can buy your pet accesories, tanks or any products necessary for caring your pets. You can also groom your dogs there.

I like the sound of water streaming. It's calming. That's why we decided to put our aquarium in our bedroom when we first bought the aquarium more than 2 years ago. We bought some tetras, algae suckers, swordtails and scissorstails before. The only species manages to survived up until now is Red Eye Tetra. Now, new species have been added in that small aquarium. We have bought China Algae Suckers, Neon Tetras, Guppies and another species I don't remember its name. I think it's another type of tetra with orange in colour and 3 white lines along their bodies.

I hope they can live well together. Most of them are peaceful type. So I guess it's quite alright. I used to feed my Betta splendens with bloodworms. And from my observation, they had turned more aggresive than before. This occurred when I was still studying for animal behaviour class. My lecturer, Dr. Eddy Tan, had asked us to observe the behaviour of a species in control and induced environment. I chose to observe the Betta splendens fighting behaviour after we introduced certain food for a period of time to them.

The quality of the above picture is not that good. Hahaha I have yet to sharpen my skill in taking picture. The picture was taken last year with my cellphone camera.
